The Model Gap uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic — which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from. Google Signals (cross-site ad tracking) is switched off, we use no advertising cookies, and we do not sell visitor data. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

Beyond that, the site is static — pages are served as plain files with no server-side logging beyond what our hosting provider (Vercel) retains for operational purposes.

If you subscribe via the newsletter form, your email is handled by Substack under Substack’s privacy policy. We do not see or store your email ourselves outside of Substack’s system.
